SUMMARY:Workshop "Grand Strategy - Gestern\, Heute\, Morgen“
DESCRIPTION:Die Veranstaltung widmet sich dem strategischen Denken in Deutschland um wie es gesamtgesellschaftlich weiterentwickelt werden kann. Ausgehend von historischen Erfahrungen werden aktuelle sicherheitspolitische Herausforderungen – von der Zeitenwende bis hin zu hybriden Bedrohungen – sowie internationale Strategien analysiert. Abschließend richtet sich der Blick auf zukünftige Anforderungen an eine gesamtgesellschaftliche Strategiebildung. Expertinnen und Experten aus Wissenschaft\, Politik\, Militär und Industrie diskutieren dabei zentrale Leitfragen zur strategischen Handlungsfähigkeit Deutschlands und Europas. Die Veranstaltung ist in drei thematische Blöcke gegliedert:\n\n„Strategie Gestern“ beleuchtet historische Muster strategischer Entscheidungsfindung;\n„Strategie Heute“ analysiert aktuelle Strategien anderer Staaten und die Rolle Deutschlands;\n„Strategie Morgen“ diskutiert künftige Anforderungen an eine gesamtgesellschaftliche Strategiebildung unter Einbeziehung von Technologie\, Industrie und Politik.

DESCRIPTION:The event is dedicated to strategic thinking in Germany and how it can be further developed across society as a whole. Drawing on historical experience\, it analyzes current security policy challenges—from the Zeitenwende to hybrid threats—as well as international strategies. Finally\, it turns to future requirements for a comprehensive\, society-wide approach to strategy formation. Experts from academia\, politics\, the military\, and industry will discuss key questions concerning the strategic capacity of Germany and Europe. The event is structured into three thematic blocks: \n\n“Strategy Yesterday” examines historical patterns of strategic decision-making;\n“Strategy Today” analyzes current strategies of other states and Germany’s role;\n“Strategy Tomorrow” discusses future requirements for a whole-of-society approach to strategy formation\, incorporating technology\, industry\, and politics
