Dr. Hans-Michael Brey is the Chairman of the Board of the Berliner Leben Foundation. Prior to this, he was the Managing Board Member of the BBA-Akademie der Immobilienwirtschaft in Berlin, as well as the Secretary General of the German Association for Housing, Urban and Spatial Development (DV). He studied Political Science, Modern History, and Sociology at the University of Bonn, and Modern History at the University of Southampton. This was followed by a postgraduate program in Urban and Regional Planning, among other subjects. He completed a specialized course in Business Administration (IWW) at the FernUniversität in Hagen. He also received training in Business Psychology (WPS) at the Steinbeis University Berlin.
